Stack & Methodology.

METHODOLOGY

I'm a little obsessive because I hate fixing things in production. Heavy testing, AI-augmented workflows, and a high bar for stability.

Circle Internal Financial Software Engineer · 3 yrs · IPO 2025

Built core features in Circle's developer console (API key management, webhooks, billing views, MFA flows) in React, TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL.

Self-serve API key system reduced CS tickets 30%. Led the migration from Checkout to Stripe, lifting payment success ~50%. Cut E2E test failures 30%. Mentored two juniors who shipped Circle's first publicly hosted open-source sample app.

Was there for the June 2025 IPO (NYSE: CRCL).

iTrustCapital Software Engineer · 1 yr · Unicorn · 30k → 200k accounts

Second frontend engineer. Built the cross-platform web and mobile app and internal CRM from zero on React Native, TypeScript, Recoil, GraphQL, Expo, Reanimated, and RN-for-Web.

Helped grow the company from 30k → 200k accounts. Owned the Funding Tracker (cut inbound support ~10%) and led frontend on conditional transactions, which moved 15% of total transaction volume within three months of release.

Reached unicorn status during my tenure (Series A, ~$120M).

Smartspace AI 2020–21 Vue/Laravel/Docker stack, 40+ time-series visualizations, microservices on Lambda.
Carpe Data 2018–19 Data Analyst → 27M-record SQL analyses, automation that saved 240 FTE hours/month.

My Story.

I started in data because I liked the numbers, but I hated being downstream. I wanted to be the one actually building the product.

Over the last few years, I’ve helped scale a crypto platform to a unicorn valuation and shipped core infrastructure from zero-to-one. Now, I focus on rescuing fragile codebases and shipping high-performance V2s.

When I’m not deep in Next.js or React Native, I’m usually at the gym, walking my (foster) dogs, or working from the road.
